Quelques mois avant sa diffusion, la série Titans a déjà son spin-off. Après leur première apparition programmée dans le 5ème épisode de la saison 1 de Titans, la Doom Patrol, les étranges héros créés par Arnold Drake, Bob Haney et Bruno Premiani en 1963, auront droit à leur propre programme dont la première saison de 13 épisodes vient d’être commandée.

Les premiers acteurs sont déjà connus (voir les annonces sur le sujet Titans) : Bruno Bichir est Niles Caulder, April Bowlby est Elasti-Girl, Jake Michaels est Robotman et Dwain Murphy est Negative Man. Et d’après le synopsis officiel ci-dessous, Cyborg sera aussi de l’aventure.

DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities—but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence—and to protect Earth from what they find.
