Focusing on the aftermath of an earthquake in the fictional country of Borduvia, a new comic book from the Commission looks at the role of the Union's Humanitarian Aid department (ECHO). Available in both paper (40 page) and pdf (43 page) versions, 'Hidden disaster' aims to explain the role of ECHO and to address some of the issues surrounding humanitarian aid, including the need for diplomacy ('We have to be very diplomatic with the Borduvians!') and the problems of dealing with border guards.
