Wolverine fights Scarecrow in New York, who has gotten stronger since fear began spreading itself. Wolverine defeats the villain and has a discussion with Melita on how to progress their relationship. Wolverine also learns that the British organization STRIKE has returned. They have taken over Norman Osborn's Prometheus ship, which he build during his tenure as leader. Melita discovers that the ship has its own nuclear missile, which STRIKE knows how to use.
