Having dreamt of taking care of the amazing and mysterious Friends since childhood, Nana has finally achieved her dream of being hired by Japari Park. She meets with her new boss, Mirai, a seasoned Park Guide, who introduces her to the Friends she will be taking care of. One is Serval, a warm and friendly cat who is enthusiast to meet her new human handler. The other, however, an Ezo Red Fox Friend, is much less keen on the idea. She expresses her distaste for following others' rules and makes it clear to Nana that she won't be listening to a word she says. Nana learns quickly that taking care of Friends is no walk in the park.
