Hachiman Hikigaya is an antisocial high school student with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he see his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters, "They're a bunch of liars." When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, "Not working." A teacher gets Hachiman to join the volunteer "service club," which happens to have the school's prettiest girl, Yukino Yukinoshita.

Les deux premiers tomes de My teen Romantic Comedy m'avaient fait mauvaise impression... C'était encore très moyen. Mais je dois dire qu'avec ce nouveau tome, je reprends espoir pour la série. Ce n'est pas encore la révélation de l'année mais je commence à ressentir le potentiel du titre, à tel point que j'ai apprécié ma lecture...
