The not-so-simple life of the tenants of Maison Ikkoku is sent reeling (yet again) after the latest Godai-related scandal hits the fan...a hostage situation! But there's a twist - the hostage is Ibuki Yagami, a coquettish coed smitten by Yusaku's bumbling charms, and she refuses to vacate the premises until her outlandish demands are met. Can Godai successfully broker her freedom...as well as his own?! Plus, Coach Mitaka's life (both literally and figuratively) goes to the dogs.
