Psyche (Dani Moonstar) accidently brings out the image of Karma's parent's death. Karma fights back and Dani, feeling guilty, flees. She goes on to explore the mansion.

Later, the five New Mutants train for the first time in the Danger Room. Psyche, still wary of her powers, runs again. Wolfsbane finds her and convinces her to come back. Dani agrees and decides to face her fear by entering the Danger Room alone.

Meanwhile, Moira MacTaggert and Illyana Rasputin visit Gabrielle Haller
who reveals that her son (David, later known as Legion) is a mutant and the son of Charles Xavier.
