After they've destroyed the sentry Sentinel, Kitty and Shan are suddenly faced with the thing they just destroyed rebuilding itself into something more formidable. They run for their lives, using everything they can do destroy it, but only manage to do away with the machine when Shola appears and crushes the machine into dust. They all retreat back to Shan's apartment to rest, but are then faced with PURITY's attempts to have mutants banned from the university. Kitty attempts to reason with Alice and the crowd surrounding them, but is interrupted by the sentinels once again. But this time, there's a lot of them.
