The sentinels have returned and have set their sights on the student union. Shola attempts to distract and destroy them while Shan escapes, searching for Kitty. However, there are further complications when the sentinels start attacking humans with a potential for mutation which, incidentally, is everyone except Alice.

With Tom's car, they all escape to the research facility that PURITY destroyed in a previous issue. Together, they trap the sentinels and use Shola's telekinesis to vaporize the entire lot. Afterwards, they search but find no sentinels... except for the one that Alice is nursing back to health.
